About Paula Kirsch

I am an adjunct professor at The Wayne State University School of Social Work, where I teach Human Sexuality to graduate students. I graduated from the Wayne State School of Social Work and completed my post-graduate training at the University of Michigan’s Sexual Health Certificate Program, with concentrations in sex therapy and sexuality education. I am a Licensed Clinical Masters Social Worker in the State of Michigan. I work with individuals and couples in therapy, specializing in intimacy and relationship issues with both straight and LGBTQ clients. I also served on the Board of Affirmations LGBT Community Center in Ferndale, Michigan from 2017 – 2020.

I invite you to look around my website and if you feel like the information resonates with you I invite you to go to the client portal or my contact page and let’s connect!  I am here for you, I maintain one private practice office in Detroit’s Midtown area at the Park Shelton and another in Ann Arbor conveniently located off Hwy 23.  Because of COVID19 however, I am meeting all clients online via HIPAA compliant ZOOM!

I offer a nonjudgmental, client-centered approach to help you as the unique individual or couple that you are. I am honored to work with you, and together we can address anxiety, grief and loss, depression, PTSD, sexual problems and more.

I help the people I work with discover their strengths, accept themselves, and thrive!

You can live a life you love!

That is what authentic living is all about!

I look forward to meeting you and I am honored to walk this path of self-discovery with you.
